RSC Launches ‘Assuffa Naattu Dars’ Religious Study Programme Across 30 Countries
The Risala Study Circle (RSC), the expatriate youth and student wing of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama, has launched “Assuffa Naattu Dars,” a coordinated religious instruction programme spanning 30 countries. Operating under a single shared syllabus and timeline across all international chapters, the initiative adapts the traditional mosque-based teaching circle format (Dars) to make Islamic learning highly accessible to general community members and non-specialists.
Organized by the Samastha Centenary Project Council as part of the organization’s centenary celebrations.
The course was officially inaugurated by Ustad E. Sulaiman Musliyar, President of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama. The curriculum is based on a foundational text authored by the Grand Mufti of India, Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, and consists of 30 weekly sessions conducted via sector-level. Each circle is guided by an educator who has received Ijazah, or formal authorization, directly from the Grand Mufti to teach the text. The educational series will culminate with a final session delivered by Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad at the grand Samastha Centenary Conference, providing a unified educational experience that fosters community solidarity for RSC members worldwide during this historic year.
